The T4C Ride
Interested in joining the challenge? T4C will tax your stamina, test your determination and treat you to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
T4C is a fundraising cycling event organised and run by the charity, Trek4Ceylon. Taking place in February or March each year, the bike challenge rides through the bustling towns and serene countrysides of Sri Lanka before crossing the finish line in Jaffna, in the north of the island.
JOIN THE RIDE
Whether you are a novice or an experienced cyclist, there is a place for you on T4C.
Register
Apply for a place on the bike challenge by completing the form on our Register page, but you'll need to hurry because places are limited. There is a £650 registration fee, of which £250 is a non-refundable deposit. All riders must be at least 18 years of age, and are required to provide their own bicycle and equipment.
Train & Fundraise
The course is over five hundred kilometres of varied terrain so it is important that you are fit enough to go the distance. The more prepared you are, the more you will enjoy the challenge.
Get to work raising awareness and funds from family and friends; there is a sponsorship minimum of £1,500 that must be collected in order to participate.
The Ride
A different route is selected each year, so no two rides are the same. Riders will be divided into pelotons according to their cycling ability. To avoid cycling at the hottest time of the day, we start very early each morning. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish; whether exploring the history and culture of Sri Lanka or just relaxing, it's your choice.
You will stay in good accommodation, sharing 3 to a room, with all meals provided. Please note that you are required to make your own way to and from Sri Lanka.
We take your safety very seriously and will provide medical and other support during the ride.
For more detailed information, please read the Terms & Conditions.
