THE ROUTE

Colombo to Jaffna, via Galle

The 2026 Trek4Ceylon charity bike ride (T4C2026) will be the most demanding course to date, spanning five days and covering more than 500 kilometres. This exhilirating cycle ride will take your breath away...in more ways than one!

From the Sri Lankan capital, we cycle south to Galle. Situated on the island's south-western tip, Galle is a city rich in history, boasting a World Heritage Site and a natural harbour. On day two, we pedal along the southern coast, enjoying the long stretches of sandy beaches, until we reach Hambantota.

Next, we drive up-country to Dambulla, where we experience the thrills of an optional night-time cycle ride. From there, we ride northwards to Elephant Pass, known as the Gateway to Jaffna. The fifth day brings us to our final destination, and the reason for the ride: St Luke's Methodist Hospital in Puttur, Jaffna.
